Lloyd always thinks about that when he designs a house, and makes sure there are lots of ways for the families to have a nice time together! Once Lloyd gets started on a design, he can spend hours on it. Sometimes when he’s been working really hard, he’ll fall asleep with his compass in his hand! Elena is a garden designer. She’s very good at thinking of fun things to do, and you can always count on her to say “Everything will be just fine!” She always has just the right idea to cheer everyone up! Elena also loves collecting antiques and other old things. She takes good care of them every day and can often be seen looking at them fondly. Theo is a gentle, polite boy. He dreams of being like the great detectives in books who help everyone. He also loves both cooking and eating delicious food, and is always trying new recipes that he’s learned from other villagers or from books. Molly loves to read, and her room and bag are always full of books. She likes to bring some books with her on picnics because, as she says, “reading feels different when you do it somewhere else!” Theo told her she should write her own book, and ever since then she’s carried a notepad with her too, scribbling down ideas that come to her during the day.
